Baby #1

Hello everyone!
My name is Daisy, and this is my 100 baby challenge.
We will begin our story in the small developing town of Blossom Creek, where superstar Matthew Prattle's daughter Neleh has chosen to raise her family for the challenge.

Hi everyone, my name is Neleh Leanne Prattle. My mother encouraged me to try out the 100 baby challenge so that I would have a great purpose in life. I love kids, so I agreed immediately. The picture above is of me. My mother is of a different genetic make up than normal humans, I have her skin color, eyes, and hair. I look nothing like my famous father.

I decided that I needed to wear something casual, yet stylish, to attract some potential fathers for the challenge. My dad always told me that every little effort you make counts! A gray sleeveless top, jean shorts, and my black converse fit the bill.

Photobucket

Now for formal wear I decided on a little black dress. You can never go wrong with a little black dress!

Photobucket

I decided to just wear a night shirt to bed, maybe I'd change it to some nice underwear later. When it came to clothes, comfort was my biggest concern. Sheep are my favorite animal, I loved the nursery rhyme Little Bo Peep.

Photobucket

Some average athletic wear, sweats, not to flashy. I wasn't really an exercise kind of woman. I would probably end up in these a lot, comfort first!

My swimsuit was a one piece, to set a good example for my future babies. It did have a nice crimson color with a deep v neck, for some added adult flair.

Blossom Creek was such a small town that I had to buy a lot and build myself a house. I decorated the outside nicely, knowing that later on I would probably have to sell those nice plants to afford my children.

Photobucket

I'm not a master decorator, but it does look rather nice on the inside. The first crib was already there, waiting for me to fill it.

While I was outside getting ready to start my garden, I saw the family that lived across from me outside. I approached quickly and introduced myself. Doug Wright cared for his daughter Jodie ever since his wife passed on years ago. I felt sad for the poor girl.

Photobucket

I explained to him that I moved here to settle down and have a big family. It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the whole truth. I didn't want to scare him off right away.

Photobucket

Doug seemed like a good guy who liked kids, so I decided to try and have him be father #1. I turned on my flirt mode, and he was instantly charmed. We flirted obnoxiously on his driveway for awhile, Jodie had gotten bored and gone inside.

Photobucket

Finally, I explained the challenge to him, asking if he would help me out by being the father of the first baby. He seemed a bit shocked, but immediately said yes.

Photobucket

We hugged in happiness. Me because I was going to have my first child, and him because he really wanted Jodie to have a playmate, she seemed so shy and lonely since her mother had passed away.

Photobucket

With a nice big smooch, we headed over to my house to do the deed.

Photobucket

We tried for a baby three times. (my computer doesn't have sound :-P )
Soon I would know whether or not we had managed to conceive a child. I told Doug I would call him once I knew something.

I wasn't feeling to well the next morning. Being a natural cook, I made myself some pancakes. But I was so tired that I couldn't bring myself to clean up after, and the oven and counter were left with digusting grime. Being a slob, it doesn't bother me too much. But once I had my kids, everything would need to be sanitary so they wouldn't get sick.

Photobucket

Almost immediatly after I ate my pancakes, I had to run to the bathroom. I felt so dizzy and immediatly vomited into the toilet. Feeling a twitch of excitement, I took a home test. Positive! I was pregnant with baby number 1.

Photobucket

I called Doug to tell him he was going to be a daddy (again)! He seemed thrilled and invited me over for the next day. I spent the rest of day scouring the neighborhood for seeds, and planting a garden to keep the family afloat in the sea of bills.

Photobucket

The next day the garden was looking pretty down, so I went to work. It was hard work being out there weeding and watering. I knew I couldn't do to much hard work because of the baby. Soon it was time for my doctor appointment.

Photobucket

Dr. Sarah Lynch seemed way to young to be a doctor, but she was the best in her field. We greeted each other and discovered both of us wanted big families, she had a huge one growing up. Even though she was my doctor, I think consider each other friends.

Photobucket

I told Sarah admantly that I didn't want to know the baby's gender. So she gave me a quick check up and advice. "Eat lots of greens, spinch and beans are the best for you right now. Don't strain yourself in the garden!" she instructed. I nodded and promised her that I would relax and eat properly.

Photobucket

The day I was due I went to visit across the street. Doug seemed really happy, and expressed that he was hoping for a boy. I told him that I thought it was a boy, but as long as he or she was healthy, I would be content.

Photobucket

Little Jodie's eyes sparkled as she touched my belly. "It's kicking me!" she exclaimed. "Your new brother or sister is just playing with you." I explained to her gently. She seemed to have warmed up to the new idea.

Photobucket

I went home to quickly weed the plants when I felt something like cramps. But it wasn't just cramps, it was labor. I rang Sarah quickly, and she said she was preparing a room at the hospital. I called Doug and walked there, I'd chosen a house close to the hospital for this purpose.

Everyone, this is baby number 1, Lilah. She loves the outdoors, like me, and she's brave. She has her father's skintone.
Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you come back for baby #2!
If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment with them. I'm currently in a more desperate need of boys names, but if you have cute girls names I'll consider them too!
